About NamazTime
NamazTime was created with one simple intention:
To help Muslims find nearby masjids, check jamaat timings easily, and avoid missing prayer in congregation.
This platform is built for the sake of Allah alone, seeking reward from Him, and with love for the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Purpose
Many times, a person reaches one masjid and finds that the jamaat has already finished.
But nearby, another masjid may still be praying.
NamazTime aims to make that easier:
- Helping people quickly find nearby masjids
- Checking jamaat timings
- Increasing opportunities to pray in congregation
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Prayer in congregation is twenty-seven times superior to prayer offered individually."
Non-Profit
NamazTime is intentionally kept simple and non-profit.
There is:
- No signup
- No login
- No user accounts
- No selling of user data
- No ads
- No premium subscription
Your usage stays lightweight and private.
Favorites and preferences are stored only in your own browser/device and are not saved on our servers.
No Personal Donations
If donation links are provided for a masjid, those donations go directly 100% to that particular masjid.
NamazTime does not take commissions or profit from masjid donations.
The intention is simply to help support local masjids and the Muslim community.
Strict Donation Policy
Donation links for a masjid are added only after I personally visit that masjid and confirm with the committee. This keeps your donations safe and ensures the money truly reaches the right hands.
What you may see when you tap Donate
Depending on the masjid's current status, one of three notes is shown. The Donate button also changes appearance — a white (outlined) button means donations are not active at the moment, and a green (filled) button means donations are open.
- DonateNot yet verified
This masjid has not yet been verified for in-person donations, so the Donate button is shown in white and is not active.
- DonateFinances are strong, mā shā Allāh
The committee has confirmed that the masjid's finances are currently strong. The button is shown in white and you are kindly requested to consider donating to other masjids in need.
- DonateMonthly threshold met
This masjid has reached its monthly threshold for the month. The button is shown in white — please consider donating to another masjid this time.
When the Donate button appears in green, donations are open and verified — you can proceed with full confidence.
Every donation is manually verified
Every single donation is manually verified by us with the masjid committee. Nothing is left automated where trust and amanah are involved.
Receipts & confirmation
- ₹500 and above: you will receive a confirmation mail and a hand written official masjid receipt — inshāʾAllāh — without fail.
- Under ₹500: after you fill the form, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know the amount has been received. If the masjid has receipts available, they may also send a hand written receipt — this depends on the masjid.
- All confirmations and receipts are issued only after manual verification with the committee.
Receipts are sent as soon as possible. In the worst case, you will receive your receipt on or before the first week of the next month.
If you need it urgently, you are most welcome to visit the masjid in person and collect it directly.
A Community Effort
This platform does not belong to me or any person alone.
It is built by the permission of Allah, and it can continue through the support, feedback, dua, and contributions of the community.
Whether someone helps by:
- Sharing the platform
- Correcting timings by one responsible person of a masjid
- Improving information
- Helping technically
- Or simply making dua
Every contribution matters.
Final Reminder
Namaz is one of the most important parts of our lives.
If this platform helps even one person reach jamaat on time, helps someone reconnect with the masjid, or helps strengthen the local Muslim community, then that itself is valuable.
May Allah accept this effort from all of us, forgive our shortcomings, and make it beneficial for the Ummah.
Ameen.
